Innovative company of the Zlín Region
The competition goal is to present the most successful companies from the Zlín Region and to appreciate their innovative activities. Registered projects are assessed by a team of experts, which consists of personalities from the business world, researchers and academics. An independent assessment will provide companies with feedback on their position in the field of innovation compared to the competition. The pilot year of this competition took place in 2009, since 2010 it has been organized in a two-year cycle. In 2021, its last winner was the company ON Semiconductor Czech Republic from Rožnov pod Radhoštěm with the project: Innovation of the production process of semiconductor plates – the introduction of a world innovation, production of polished silicon carbide plates.
The previous winners see the benefits of the award in visibility of their innovative activities, increasing of prestige and credit of the company, as well as credibility among customers. Now, when there is a shortage of qualified experts on the labor market, it’s also a welcome benefit for the company’s HR marketing. The winning companies have the right to use the competition logo for marketing purposes and are presented in the activities of the announcer and competition partners.
